We are delighted to announce the library will be reopening on the 4th of January 2021 for limited services. A Foyer service will be operated to order and collect books at the front desk. Unfortunately, no browsing will be allowed at this time. A photocopying service will also be available. Our online click and collect service will also continue as normal. Opening hours will be Monday 1pm-5pm, Wednesday 9am-1pm and Friday 9am-1pm.

We're excited to announce that as part of World Book Day (March 4th), we'll be hosting a Virtual Book Reading and Q&A with author Karen McCreedy over Zoom.

Karen was born in Cheadle (though now based in Sussex) and is the author of the Unreachable Skies trilogy, the last volume of which was published in September last year. Karen has also written numerous articles on films and British history for magazines; while her short stories have appeared online and in anthologies.

The event will start at 10.30 am and is expected to last around 30-40 minutes. Anyone interested in taking part should register their interest with library trustee Mike Plant via e-mail (mikeplant1138@gmail.com).
