4th November 2020
From 21st September the library will extend the services on offer to include public computers, printing, photocopying and browsing for books. Three of the public PCs will be available to use and sessions on these can be booked by coming into the library or ringing us on 01538 332068. The number of people allowed in the library at any one time will be limited so it may sometimes be necessary to wait. The team of volunteers is keen to help people access library services again but naturally has to follow regulations regarding social distancing, quarantining books and sanitising computer terminals. A track and trace record sheet will also be maintained. As well as calling in to select their own books, readers can also request books that are in stock at Cheadle and pick them up from the door. For more information call in or contact the library.
We regret to announce that Cheadle Community Library is closed to the public from 1pm on the 5th of November 2020 until further notice. In line with government Covid rules, it will not reopen for at least 4 weeks. An e-book service is still available for members via the following website We hope our customers and volunteers stay safe and well during this lockdown period. We look forward to welcoming you back to the library when it is safe to do so. A click and collect and e-book service is still available for members via the following website https://www.staffordshire.gov.uk/Libraries. More details about the click and collect service can be found here.
